Eligibility Criteria for Rotary Peace Fellowships
Professionals with work experience in international relations, peace, and the prevention and resolution of conflicts are eligible for Rotary Peace Fellowships. The following prerequisites must also be fulfilled by applicants:
- All nations worldwide are eligible.
- English proficiency is required; learning a second language is highly advised.
- Outstanding ability to lead
- Strong dedication to promoting global understanding and peace as seen by accomplishments in the workplace and classroom, as well as via volunteer work or personal service
- Candidates for master’s degrees must have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant full-time work experience or volunteer activity.
- Candidates for certificates must have a good academic background and at least five years of relevant full-time job experience or volunteer work.

How Do I Apply for Rotary Peace Fellowships?
The steps listed below must be fulfilled in order to apply for a Rotary Peace Fellowship:
- Examine the application guidelines and confirm the eligibility requirements and limitations for.
- Examine the educational programmes and offerings of every Rotary Peace Centre. You will be prompted to select your two favorite centers.
- Get everything ready for your application: a CV or résumé, essays, recommendations from professors or professionals, test results, transcripts, and test scores. All content needs to be in English. Transcripts and test results are not required for certificate candidates.
- Before submitting your application, get in touch with your local Rotary district to seek an interview. An essential step in the application process is district endorsement. Candidates that have district support are not required, although club interviews and referrals are highly desired.
- Send in your online application to your district by May 15th, before you attend any interviews.
- Finish the interview with the representatives of your district. By July 1st, districts had to send endorsements to The Rotary Foundation.
- Await hearing about the November selection results. You will be informed of the Peace Centre where you will be studying if you are selected for a fellowship.
- Fill out an admissions application to the university where your Peace Centre is situated. You are not automatically admitted to the university if you are chosen for the fellowship.
