International students can apply for the fully funded Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Programme 2024–2025. There are 37 scholarships offered in total for undergraduate work. For four years, tuition, books, incidentals, and complete living support will all be covered by this scholarship.
This scholarship programme aims to recognise international students who exhibit exceptional academic performance, exceptional innovation, and who are recognised as leaders within their college community. The impact the student has had on their college community and society, as well as their potential to positively impact global society in the future, are given special consideration.

Scholarship Coverage
The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Programme pays for tuition, books, incidentals, in addition to full residential support for four years. The scholarship is exclusively valid at the University of Toronto.
Eligibility Criteria for Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship.
A foreign student who has been recommended by their educational institution is eligible to apply for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship. The full list of qualifying requirements is:
- Language Requirement: English
- Eligible Countries: All countries in the globe
- A foreign student
- A unique and imaginative mind
- Devoted to the community and school
- A successful student in both academics and arts
- Zealous for education and knowledge acquisition.
- Possess an excellent history of leadership
- Going into their last year of secondary school, or having graduated by June 2023 at the latest
- Aiming to start studying in September 2024 at the University of Toronto (students who are already enrolled in post-secondary education are not eligible to apply; students who enroll in another post-secondary institution in January 2024 are not eligible to apply)
How Do I Apply for the International Lester B. Pearson Scholarship?
To apply for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Programme, please adhere to the following instructions:
- Get nominated by your educational institution. (High schools not already contacted/verified are asked to submit an application to participate in our program, available here.(external link))(external link)
- To start your studies in 2024, apply to the University of Toronto (external link) and make sure your application is submitted by the deadlines(external link). Please be aware that you will be given consideration for the Pearson Scholarship for the U of T programme that is your first preference. You may apply to many programmes and may be accepted into each one; but, if you are awarded the Pearson Scholarship, it will only be applied to the programme of your choice at U of T at the time our scholarship choices are announced.
